Location: Wickenburg Episcopal Church
Climate: Clear and super hot. Early start kept temps in low 90's. Killer heat in pm but we arrived early for shelter. Temps around 115 in pm.
Distance: 52-miles.
Ride start: 6:30am
Ride end: 11:00am
Route: US 60
Terrain: Flat, gradual climb on 4-lane highway. Nice shoulder. Smooth.
Winds: Tailwinds in the last 20-miles.
Awards: None.
Notes: 4-5 riders wilting in the heat and dryness.....mostly those who did not train enough.
